We All Dream in Widescreen The UA School of Media Arts presents I Dream In Widescreen, a night of thrilling 2008 BFA Thesis Films at The Fox Tucson Theatre on Friday May 16th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. screening. Admission is free. This popular, standing-room-only event is the culmination of the skills, knowledge and creative vision fostered by students in the Media Arts BFA program at the University of Arizona in film and video production. Ranging from documentaries to zoot-suit musicals, this event is sure to entertain. We hope to see you there.

Cinematography Workshop This Saturday On Saturday, May 17th, professional cinematographer and editor Webb Pickersgill will lead a full-day hands-on workshop in Phoenix at the Metro Arts Production Studio, 1700 N. 7th Avenue, 2nd Floor. Learn the tricks that will boost production value and make your film stand out from the others. Lunch and handout is included. The workshop will run 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.brownpapertickets.com. $45 for IFP members and $80 for non-members: At the door prices are $50 members and $85 non-members.
